The Palouse is a large farming region located mainly in the southeast corner of Washington State. What makes this region unique is that it's not flat ground. It a seemly unending series of rolling hills most would consider too steep for farming. Because different crops are grown and rotated, the patterns they make with the undulating ground are fascinating. In addition to the land, the grain elevators and support buildings are also visually interesting.
